CUDEMAN SURVIVAL KNIFE GREEN BOINA CADET 291-M

The Cadet Green Beret cudeman is characterized as one of the most popular survival knife designs of all time. This sports knife has the original design of Ángel Corts. The Cadet Green Beret is not only a powerful knife, it is also a multipurpose tool for Bushcraft type activities. We can have a hole for a security cord, breaks glass and wires, a zipper on the edge and a bullet encapsulator.

BLADE

In the profile of the Cadet Green Beret we can see the classic Drop Point. The lines of the spine and the edge come out parallel to the handle and are approached at the tip. A slight convex curve stands out on the edge, providing characteristics of a machete. The result is a one-piece blade ideal for both fine and larger jobs.

The blade has a zipper at the beginning of the spine. Thanks to which the thumb can be positioned for jobs that require more grip and precision.

The Cadet Green Beret Cudeman series have Austrian Böhler N695 steel on its blade. This alloy is considered a high-end material, since it is equivalent to 440C, and presents unbeatable conditions in reference to obtaining a powerful edge with good maintenance and re-sharpening. It has a high operability range, so it can be used in harsh environments.

Its specific composition is 0.95-1.2% carbon, 19% chromium, 0.75% molybdenum, 1% manganese, and 1% silicone, with a hardness of 59HRC according to the Rockwell Scale.

HANDLE

Following the house rule of always having the highest quality materials for the manufacture of their products, the Cudeman developers have chosen the micarta for the grip. It is a synthetic fiber grouped in thousands of layers and joined by high pressure.

It is an ultra resistant material and with an ergonomic design to facilitate the use of the Cadet Green Beret. For the finish, in this case an elegant black color has been chosen.
