DELUXE KNIFE DAMASCUS STEEL GRINDING WHEEL COL-7DAM

The Spanish company Muela has created this luxury knife Col-7DAM made of Damascus Stainless Steel RWL34 (The "Damascus Stainless Steel" is composed of about 130 layers although it can vary between 90 and 130 depending on the thickness and production. Using two powder metallurgical steel grades (RWL34 and PMC27) and bonded together at 1150ºC and a pressure of 1,000 atmospheres).

The shape of the blade is hunting point, the handle is made of stag horn with brass ferrule (stag horn: it gives it softness because it is pleasant to the touch and makes it manageable and easy to work with, besides, it does not corrode). And also, the structure is one-piece, that is to say, the tang forms a single piece with the blade.
